Invitaion to Bid – Moving Services Re-Bid

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed proposals for moving services in accordance with MGL Chapter 30B. The sites could be in Cambridge or within 35 miles). Award of contracts will be made to up to four (4) responsible and responsive vendor(s) who offer the best unit prices. CHA expects that there will be a total of approximately 600-700 moves over a three-year contract period.

The maximum upset value of any contract will be $750,000 .

Residents required to be relocated may be moved to: 1) other dwelling units within the same housing development, 2) another Housing Authority development that is located within Cambridge or surrounding communities, or 3) a privately owned) property located within Cambridge or surrounding communities. The successful contractor will be required to provide moving of resident(s) furniture and personal belongings.
