BackgroundThe Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD), with approximately 4,000 employees, is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in California and manages one of the largest jail systems in the nation. The Department oversees an average daily inmate population of over 4,000 across multiple correctional facilities throughout Orange County.
The mission of OCSD’s Custody Division is to provide a secure, safe, and professionally managed jail environment that prioritizes the safety and welfare of both staff and inmates.
