DescriptionPursuant to Procurement Policy Board Rules, Section 3-04, The Bronx District Attorney’s Office (BXDA) seeks proposals to evaluate a program for teens and young adults identified by BXDA as being at high risk of engaging in serious violent crime (visit NYC DCAS City Record for more information about the Bronx Restore at St. Mary’s and Bronx Restore at Fordham solicitations).
BXDA seeks proposals from qualified applicants to evaluate the Bronx Restore initiative. The evaluation will assess the effectiveness of implementation strategies and measure participant outcomes to inform continuous program improvement and BXDA’s broader strategic goals to reduce gang and crew-related violence in the Bronx.
Working collaboratively with BXDA and the funded service providers, the selected Evaluator will:
-
Co-develop evaluation questions aligned to program goals and intended outcomes
-
Provide technical assistance on implementation practices
-
Measure and report effects on participant outcomes
-
Produce timely, actionable findings to guide program refinement
The evaluation should include the development of a logic model, program implementation monitoring, measurement of participant engagement and service receipt, and outcomes such as well-being, attitudes, connections to education, employment, and other pro-social activities, as well as interactions with the criminal justice system.
