Bid Title: 2026 LMIG Resurfacing Project
Category: Construction Services Bid Opportunities Status: Open Description: Asphalt paving, milling, patching, striping, traffic loop replacement and all associated work on
various City streets within 120 consecutive calendar days and shall include all labor, materials
and incidentals necessary to construct the project. A preliminary list of streets will be included
in the bid packet. The amount of work may increase or decrease, and the preliminary list of streets
are subject to change. This project includes some GDOT LMIG funding. The latest GDOT Standard
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation as
amended herein, shall govern the construction of this project. City will hire it is own testing
agency. GDOT testing specifications section 400.3.06 to be followed. Vehicular and Pedestrian
Traffic Control following GDOT and MUTCD standards are required. Contractor shall legally dispose
milling materials. Roads must be paved 24 hours after milling activities. No parking within the
construction limits. Contractor to adjust water/sewer utilities to grade following Gwinnett County
DWR standards (concrete cap). Regular Work Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. Some roads are anticipated to be
performed at Night (from 9 PM to 5 AM). All roads to be performed at night are listed on the bid tab.

Any bidreceived after 3:00 P.M. will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidencesubmitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the City that such bidder is properlyqualified to carry out the obligations of the contract.7. Bids may be withdrawn only the case of mathematical error. The bidder shall give notice inwriting of his claim of right to withdraw his bid without penalty due to an error within two (2)business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure. Bids may be withdrawn fromconsideration if the price was substantially lower than the other bids due solely to a mistaketherein, provided the bid was submitted in good faith, and the mistake was a clerical mistake asopposed to a judgment mistake, and was actually due to an unintentional arithmetic error or anunintentional omission of a quantity of work, labor or material made directly in the compilationof the bid, which unintentional arithmetic error or unintentional omission can be clearly shownby objective evidence drawn from inspection of original work papers, documents and materialused in the preparation of the bid sought to be withdrawn.
