Summit County Resource Allocation Park (SCRAP) Fill Area IV, Phases 6 and 7Share this pageYou are invited to prepare a bid for the construction of Fill Area IV Phases 6 and 7 at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park located 4.7 miles northwest of Dillon, Colorado. The scope of work for this project, which is described in the enclosed bid package, generally consists of the following, but not limited to, the construction of landfill cells and facility roads, including excavation, general fill, subgrade preparation for geomembrane liner, installation of a geomembrane liner system and the installation of a 12-inch thick operations layer.
A Pre-Bid meeting has been scheduled to familiarize bidders with the site and to address questions concerning the project at 10:00AM MST on January 21, 2026 at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park (see address below). Answers to these written questions will be provided as an addendum to all interested bidders on or before 4:00PM MST Thursday, February 12, 2026.Please prepare your bid in accordance with the Bid Package. A copy of the completed Bid Form and a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must be submitted and delivered no later than 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, electronically with an original signed copy to follow by 4:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2026 to the following address:Mr. Daniel GietzenDaniel.gietzen@summitcountyco.govSummit County Resource Allocation Park639 Landfill RoadDillon, Colorado 80435Please write clearly on the outside of the envelope for all submittals the project name "Summit County Resource Allocation Park- Construction of Fill Area IV Phases 6 and 7". Include in the bid package a complete description of the firm/company submitting the bid, including all subcontractors proposed.
The Owner may request that the Bidder be available for interview after the bids are received that would occur at the Owner's discretion to assist with the completion of decision making for award. Upon complete review and evaluation of the submitted bids, we will notify the successful bidder and issue a Notice of Award. Summit Country Resource Allocation Park / Summit County Government, reserves the right to reject any or all bids. It is the contractor's responsibility to have read and understood all terms and conditions stated in this document. The successful bidder will be required to sign a contractual agreement based on the templates included in thisdocument. Any proposed modifications and/or exceptions to the agreement as shown must accompany the bid response.
It is anticipated that the Owner will provide a Notice of Award to the chosen Contractor in a reasonably expeditious manner, and that the Contractor should be prepared to enter into an agreement with the Owner within 21 calendar days after a Notice of Award has been issued. Construction of the project is required to be completed before October 31, 2026.
