REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB)
Under the rules of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 7 sect. 22b, Chapter 7, sect 22a and
Massachusetts General Law 30b, Section 1 (30) the Purchasing Department of the City of
Waltham, lead jurisdiction, hereby requests sealed bids for:
Procurement of Police Department Ammunitions
Price Proposals will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 610 Main Street,
Waltham MA 02452, until,
Monday February 9th, 2026 at 10:00AM
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read via ZOOM.

BIDS MUST BE SIGNED AND ENCLOSED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE AND MARKED:

If the Bidder is a corporation, state your correct corporate name and State of incorporation. If
Bidder is a partnership, state names and addresses of partners. If Bidder is a trust or other legal
entity, state correct names and addresses of trustees or names and address of those legally
authorized to bid and enter into contracts.
EXCEPTION OR ALTERNATES TO SPECIFICATIONS, TERMS OF SALE, AND DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE,
MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE BID PRIOR TO OPENING DATE.

Intent of Project
The Purchasing Department of the City of Waltham wishes to receive bids for the
Procurement of Police Ammunition for thirty-two (32) communities for a period of one
year, with the option of the Cooperative to extend to three years.

AGREEMENT
ARTICLE 1. This AGREEMENT is by and between the City of Waltham, with a principal place of business
at 610 Main Street, Waltham, acting by and through its Mayor (hereinafter the “CITY”), and
_____________________________________with a principal place of business at
__________________________________, hereinafter the “CONTRACTOR.”
ARTICLE 2. Witnesseth, that the parties to this agreement, each in consideration of the AGREEMENT,
do hereby agree as follows:
The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all equipment, machinery, tools, materials, and labor required to do and
perform all work in strict conformity with the provisions of this AGREEMENT, as specified within the Notice
to Bidders, Project Manual, Drawings and any Bid changes, corrections, or clarifications specified in any
Addendum with respect to the “Cooperative Procurement of Police Department Ammunition” and the
CONTRACTOR’S bid response thereto. The said Notice to Bidders, CONTRACTOR’S Bid submissions, Project
Manual, and Drawings and Bid Addendums are hereby made a part of this Agreement as fully and to the
same effect as if the same had been set forth at length and incorporated herein.
In consideration of the foregoing promises, the CITY agrees to pay and the CONTRACTOR agrees to receive
as full compensation the sum, not to exceed the individual line items prices in your Bid for everything
furnished and done by the CONTRACTOR under the terms of this AGREEMENT.
ARTICLE 3.
This AGREEMENT shall become effective upon the date of execution by the Mayor on behalf of the CITY.
