SummaryThe project consists of the construction of a new Land Conservation Administration complex located along NW 43rd Street in Gainesville, Florida, to support the relocation of the Lands Department within Alachua County’s Environmental Protection Department. The facility will serve as an operational hub for staff responsible for managing and maintaining the Four Creeks Preserve and other conservation lands, providing modern administrative space and support areas to improve coordination, efficiency, and field operations.
The development will include office space, warehouse and storage areas, pre engineered pole barns, and covered work areas to support equipment storage and operational needs. The project also includes associated site infrastructure such as internal drives, parking, utilities, and a pedestrian beacon along NW 43rd Street to enhance safety and access to the preserve.
Overall, the project is intended to deliver a comprehensive facility that supports both administrative functions and field operations associated with land conservation management, creating a durable and functional complex designed for long term use by County staff.
