Overview

Summary

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of Richmond Gas Works (“RGW”), seeks bids from qualified firms for furnishing and delivering certain domestic electro fusion fittings (the “Fittings”). The Fittings, which are needed in various sizes, must be manufactured by one of the following manufacturers: MT Deason Tri-Fusion (ISCO), IPEX Friatec, Innogaz (Aliaxis), or GF Central Plastics.

Background

RGW operates a natural gas distribution system composed mostly of high-density polyethylene pipe. RGW is seeking qualified firms for furnishing and delivering BABA-compliant (see special provisions) natural gas fittings to install in their natural gas system.
