NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for its GENERATOR MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES. (Project), at City of Lathrop, California (“City”). Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lathrop, located at 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to: City of Lathrop, Attention City Clerk, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA 95330 and conform to Submission of Bids standards within this Section. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

The Work contemplated by this bid solicitation will occur citywide withing the City Limits of Lathrop, and is generally described as provision of labor, tools, vehicles and materials to provide 2 types of service: 1. scheduled annual maintenance of forty-seven (47) City-owned generators and 2. on-call planned or emergency repair of any City-owned generators within the City of Lathrop. Note that the emergency on-call services contemplated by this contract must be provided as requested by the City of Lathrop, with a maximum contractor response time of two hours and completion of requested services as soon as practicable.

DIR Registration. Bidder must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no exceptions. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder’s Subcontractors’ List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements

The term of the GENERATOR MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES contract will begin as

early as December 8, 2025, and expire on June 30, 2026 unless extended by the City and Contractor

by mutual agreement.

This contract may be extended by the City for up to three (3) additional two-year terms after the

initial contract term at the discretion and approval of the City. Upon request from the Contractor,

the City may authorize up to a 5% two-year contract term cost increase for routine maintenance

and on-call services based on the change in the State of California DGS Construction Cost Index

over the then-current contract term.

DIR Registration. Bidder must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no

exceptions. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder’s

Subcontractors’ List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. If awarded the Contract for the Work,

at all times during performance of the Work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors, of any tier, shall

be a DIR Registered Contractors.

The City of Lathrop does not sell copies of the specifications, but they may be purchased through
