SCOPE OF WORK: Refer to Exhibit A.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will not be scheduled for this project.
QUESTIONS: Submit all questions in writing to procurement@tuckerga.gov. Reference ITB
#2025-018 in the subject line of the email.
ADDENDA: Responses to the questions received will be by addenda and will be posted on the
City website www.tuckerga.gov/bids and the DOAS/Georgia Procurement Registry Website. The
signed acknowledgement issued with each addendum must be submitted with the proposal. It is
the vendors responsibility to verify if any addenda were created.
SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: Vendor shall submit ITB Response electronically to
procurement@tuckerga.gov so it is received no later than December 4, 2025, at 1:00pm EST with
the subject line “Submittal: ITB #2025-018”. The email must contain the vendor’s contact
information. Bid Submittal should be one PDF file and named <Company Name>.ITB 2025-
018.Bid Submittal.pdf. Email will be opened to confirm receipt of the submittal, but the attached
PDF file will remain unopened until the public bid opening.
BID OPENING: All bids received prior to the deadline will be opened publicly at 1:00pm EST
at Tucker City Hall located at 1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 350, Tucker GA.
BID SUBMITTALS: A listing of submittals received prior to the bid deadline will be posted on
the City website http://tuckerga.gov/bids following the opening of the bids.

All responses must be received electronically by the Bid Deadline. (Addenda will show any
schedule updates). No bids will be received orally or by phone. Late bids will not be considered.
Bids received after the bid deadline will be filed unopened. The City of Tucker reserves the right
to reject any and all bids or any part, to waive any formalities to make an award and to re-advertise
in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to consider past performance in
determining the responsibleness of bidders.
The city reserves the right to negotiate pricing and may, in its discretion, award a contract to the
lowest responsible and responsive bidder submitting the proposal.

Exhibit A: Scope of Work
PURPOSE, INTENT AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City of Tucker (City), requests that interested parties submit formal electronic bids for the replacement
of failed culverts and associated catch basin structures and headwalls at four (4) locations.
The complete scope, specifications, and other relevant information for ITB 2025-018 is available for
download on the City of Tucker website: www.tuckerga.gov/bids or request via email to
procurement@tuckerga.gov.
SCOPE OF WORK
The work required under this contract includes furnishing materials, qualified labor, equipment, traffic
control, erosion control, and site restoration at each location as described in the accompanying
construction plans.
LOCATION A: 4127 PINE VALLEY ROAD
Project Background
The existing storm drainage system and culvert under Pine Valley Road has experienced emerging failure
of the existing 30” metal pipe. A new culvert and associated structures need to be installed to properly
drain the area upstream of Pine Valley Road for the long term structural soundness of the road.

LOCATION B: CULVERT UNDER EAST PONCE DE LEON AVENUE AT 1566 SAGEWOOD
CIRCLE FRONTAGE
Project Background
The existing storm drainage system and culvert under East Ponce de Leon Avenue has experienced failure
due to a collapsed conduit under East Ponce de Leon Avenue. A new culvert and associated structures
need to be installed to properly drain the area upstream of East Ponce de Leon Avenue for the long term
structural soundness of the road.
LOCATION C: 5170 EAST PONCE DE LEON AVENUE
Project Background
The existing storm drainage system and culvert under East Ponce de Leon Avenue has experienced failure
due to a complete sedimentation of the system. A new culvert and an associated inlet structure need to be
installed to properly drain the area upstream of East Ponce de Leon Avenue for the long term structural
soundness of the road.
Location Notes
1. Abandon the existing system in place and remove existing catch basin structure top to a point of
existing shoulder grade.
2. Install a 30” RCP culvert under East Ponce de Leon Avenue and the multi-use trail.
Approximately 120 linear feet of 30” diameter RCP pipe - see accompanying exhibit.
3. Install headwalls at each end.
4. Install a pedestal top inlet junction box in the shoulder on the north side of East Ponce de Leon
Avenue to capture ditch and roadway surface drainage from an uncurbed section.
5. Outlet and inlet protection per GSWCC Erosion Control Manual Structural Measure St1.
6. Pavement repair of road and multi-use trail to match existing pavement cross section.
7. Clean work area.
Special Notes
1. The city has obtained an easement and right of entry from the cemetery to drain outletting flow
onto the cemetery property.
LOCATION D: 2241 MOON STREET
Project Background
The existing storm drainage system and culvert under Moon Street has experienced failure due to a
complete sedimentation of the system. A new culvert and an associated inlet structure need to be installed
to properly drain Moon Street and avoid excessive ponding.
Location Notes
1. Sawcut roadway and remove the existing conduits, catch basin structures, and headwall,
approximately 80 linear feet.
2. Install an 18” diameter RCP culvert under Moon Street and an 18” diameter HDPE pipe outfall to
the north. Approximately 35 linear feet of 18” diameter RCP pipe and 45 linear feet of 18”
diameter HDPE pipe - see accompanying exhibit. Match existing elevations.
3. Install headwall at downstream end.
4. Install catch basins on each side of Moon Street.
5. Outlet and inlet protection per GSWCC Erosion Control Manual Structural Measure St1.
