Invitation to Bid
City of Winder Street Rehabilitation/ Resurfacing-FY26/FY27
“Sealed” Bids will be received by the City of Winder-Engineering Department at the front desk of the Public Utilities Facility, 138 Sweetwater Trail, Winder, GA 30680 (Attention: Gerard Brewer, City Engineer) until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 04, 2026, to perform work under the contract for “City of Winder Street Rehabilitation/ Resurfacing - FY26/ FY27”.
The work outlined in this contract primarily involves a combination of street patching, surface treatments, crack sealing, asphalt resurfacing, pavement widening, full-depth rehabilitation (including roadway excavation and base placement), and roadway striping.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Refer to the bid package for the requirements concerning other bonds, insurance, and warranties.
CITY OF WINDER STREET REHABILITATION & RESURFACING PROJECT FY 2026-2027
Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 04, 2026, in the Public Utilities Conference Room (see address above). The City reserves the right to waive technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to make the award that is in the best interest of the City as well as to add or remove items as necessary to meet budgetary requirements.
Note: It is the bidder’s responsibility to regularly check the Georgia Procurement Registry and the City of Winder’s website for the issuance of any Addenda relating to this project.
