2026 Quandary Peak Trailhead Redesign

2026 QUANDARY PEAK TRAILHEAD REDESIGN

Summit County Government and the Town of Breckenridge are soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide services for the redesign of the Quandary Peak Trailhead. The project will be split into two phases: Phase 1 will focus on site assessments and data collection, and Phase 2 will focus on engineered designs and the preparation of construction-ready plans, specifications, and cost estimates (100% design). This work and the project area are further described in “Exhibit A: Scope of Work” and “Exhibit B: Maps.” Phase 1 deliverables should be completed no later than November 1, 2026, if possible. The timeline for Phase 2 will be determined with the County and Town after Phase 1 is completed.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Quandary Peak Trailhead on Monday, June 22 at 10:00AM MST. Please contact Allison Morton, allison.morton@summitcountyco.gov , for directions and additional information. This pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, and bids will be accepted regardless of attendance.
