Description

The CONTRACTOR shall provide all design, equipment, material, and labor f or removal of the reheat vertical outlet bank, and the fabrication and installation of a new reheat vertical outlet bank at Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) Gerald Gentleman Station ( GGS) Unit 1 boiler, located near Sutherland, Nebraska, performance bond, and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

Information to join the non-mandatory pre-bid Microsoft Teams meeting can be found under the "Documents" tab.

A mandatory pre-bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at 9:00 a.m., CDT, October 29, 2024. The purpose of the Teams meeting is to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility, while participating in the Teams meeting to ask any questions necessary to submit a bid that is complete and responsive. If you plan to participate, information to join the meeting can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.

If the Bidder desires to visit the site and work areas at GGS, Bidders may attend the mandatory pre-bid Microsoft Teams meeting at GGS, located five (5) miles south of Sutherland, Nebraska, at 6089 South Highway 25, 69165. Due to the plant’s current operating condition, personnel will be allowed to view the external portions of the boiler only.

It is imperative that all prospective Bidders participate in the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder not participating in the mandatory pre bid meeting.

If you plan to participate in the mandatory pre-bid meeting via Teams or in-person at GGS, please email Connor Merrill at cjmerri@nppd.com and Bill Ruskamp at whruska@nppd.com before 3:00 p.m., CDT, October 28, 2024, with the names of the representatives, the company they represent, and whether attendance will be via Teams OR in person at GGS.
