Bid Title:	ASBESTOS & UNIVERSAL WASTE ABATEMENT, DEMOLITION, AND SITE RESTORATION

Description: Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Greene County, Ohio, 35 Greene St., Xenia, OH 45385, until 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 08, 2026. At such time, the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the requirements outlined in the instructions to bidders. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on December 22, 2025, at the Project site located at 77 & 105 East Market Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385. Representatives from Patriot Engineering and Environmental, Inc. (Patriot), acting on behalf of Greene County and the Engineer/Architect, will be present to discuss the Project. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Only two (2) representatives from each Contractor will be permitted for the pre-bid meeting and must pre-register by 3:00 PM on December 19, 2025, with Greene County Department of Development at For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. . The entire structure proposed for abatement and demolition will be available for inspection from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additional inspection time may be made available by appointment and by approval with Greene County and officials from the Greene County Sherriff’s Office. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, properly identified with the Bidder's name, contact number, bid opening date, and a statement that it is a sealed bid covering the materials or services for which the bid is submitted. The basis for the Contract award shall be based on a Best Value Selection for this project. As such, Greene County intends to use a selection process for services where total cost, as well as other non-cost factors, are considered in the evaluation, selection, and final award of this contract. (b) A financial statement, duly sworn to, listing assets and liabilities. (c) A letter from a qualified surety addressed to the Greene County Board of County Commissioners demonstrating the Bidder’s ability to obtain the Payment and Performance Bonds required hereunder. (d) Statement listing at least four projects of a similar size and scope which the Bidder has completed within the last 5 years. The Bidder’s experience shall demonstrate the capability of undertaking this type of project. (e) Pertinent information relative to any pending lawsuits or outstanding liens. If no information is provided by the Bidder, the County shall assume that any such lawsuits or liens do not exist. Any Bidder may be required by the County to submit additional data to satisfy the County that such Bidder is prepared to fulfill the Contract if it is awarded to them.
