Overview

Summary

Baboquivari Unified School District #40 is seeking qualified firms to provide Exceptional Students Services. Staffing firms should not respond as they will be disqualified. Currently, BUSD needs a Speech and Language Pathologist for PreK-Headstart students. The district is also seeking a self-contained ES teacher for grades 4-6 , mild to moderate. As the district looks forward there is an anticipated need for the near future for an additional SLP for the Primary School. OT services are not currently a need but it is a possibility in the new year. Proposals from staffing agencies and eProviders will be rejected. The district will not provide information on current rates and costs, but will say in a typical year they spend more than $250,000./year.

Background

Our community-centered school serves students in beautiful southern Arizona. BUSD are located about 60 miles from Tucson in the Tohono O’odham Nation within Pima County. We are proud to serve our community as we instill a love of learning, community, and culture into our students.
