Bid Title:	Carteret County Courthouse Window and Storefront System Replacement ITB

Description: A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on-site on June 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time. Meeting will begin in the breezeway between the Courthouse and Annex buildings. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend. Representatives of OWNER and ENGINEER will transmit to Bidding Document holders of record such Addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective until provided in writing. Carteret County Government reserves the right to award to multiple Contractors deemed to be fully qualified and best suited among others submitting proposals on the basis of the evaluation factors included within this RFP. Once the proposals are ranked by Carteret County Governments Committee and the qualified Contractor is determined, Carteret County Government may conduct further negotiations, and/or request presentations to any or all Contractors. Carteret County Government reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, proposals directed to the best interest of the County. Each Contractor shall fill out the required information within this RFP, submit Certificate of Insurance for liability and Worker’s Compensation in order for the proposal to be qualified. Carteret County Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that their proposal arrives by the designated submission date assigned. Sealed proposals will be opened immediately after the bid submission deadline and read aloud publicly. A 5% bid bond is required.
