A. 95-0635 or shall have a collective bargaining agreement in effectdealing with the subject matter of P. A. 95-0635.9. The following Minority Participation Goals for Public Works Contracts are in effectfor this contract:(1) Ten (10) Percent (%) of the total dollar amount of the contract should beperformed by minority business enterprises if subcontracting opportunities areavailable and/or Ten (10) Percent (%) of the total dollar amount of the contract shouldbe for the purchase of goods, material and equipment to Minority BusinessEnterprises.(2) Eighteen (18) Percent (%) of the total hours worked should be performed byminority workers.All Contractors shall provide evidence of meeting the City’s minority participationgoals prior to the award of this project and prior to all payments made for workcompleted or provide the City of Decatur documentation on their good faith efforts tocomply with the participation goals. Required information and documentation isincluded in the Project Manual and to be submitted with the bid proposal. Where thereare both City and IEPA goals stated for a specific type of business enterprise, the moststringent goals shall govern.REJECTION OF BIDS:The Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, reserves the right to accept, renegotiate or rejectany or all proposals and to waive any variance from the requirements of the instructions forbidders.
