Description: Sealed bids for furnishing the following will be received at the Office of Central Purchasing, Andover Town Offices, 36 Bartlet St., Andover, Massachusetts 01810 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.  The time received will be stamped on each bid and for a consistency of time, the clock in the Purchasing Office will be the determining time. ITEM         BID OPENING IFB No. 450/017/27                                                                                     October 8, 2026 Fish Brook Transmission Main Modifications                                                  12:00 PM Bid Documents and bid forms may be obtained on the Central Purchasing Department webpage located at www.andoverma.gov/bids . Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CASH,CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit will be held for all interested parties on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Fish Brook Pumping Station, 98 Brundrett Ave., Andover, MA 01810. Andover is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
