Lake County Land Bank Authority (“LCLBA”) is accepting bidsLake County Land Bank Authority (“LCLBA”) is accepting bids from experienced companies for the Parking Lot Rehabilitation, which includes removal of the Parking Lot Demolition and Installation, including the installation of a leaching basin, parking lot painting and related coordination/work as described herein at the commercial property located at: 1075 Washington Street, Baldwin MI 49304
The LCLBA is funding this project using a Blight Elimination Grant from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority, and the project will be conducted in compliance with grant requirements, including reporting requirements. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0127 awarded to The State of Michigan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The project will be completed in accordance with the Site/Paving plan andspecifications prepared by Nordlund and Associates Inc. (Engineering Consultant) and Attached asDRAWING SHEET 01 SITE PLAN/PAVING PLAN.2. DAVIS-BACON ACT. PREVAILING WAGE LAW: DAVIS-BACON ACT. During theperformance of this project, the Contractor is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act.(40 U.S.C. 3141–3144, and 3146–3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29CFR Part 5, “Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed andAssisted Construction”). In accordance with the statute, contractors are required to pay wages tolaborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wagedetermination made by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. In addition, contractors are required to paywages not less than once a week.3. GENERAL CONTRACTOR. It is the intent of the LCLBA to have one general contractor tocomplete the work with subcontractors as necessary.4. PAYMENT & PERFORMANCE BOND. General Contractor will be required to carry aPayment & Performance Bond for completion of the Project.5. SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: follow the attached Site/Paving Plan prepared by Nordlund & Associates. removal of the existing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, removal of septic system installation of a new two (2) layers of HMA pavement installation of a leaching basin. coordination with the Lake County Road Commission (LCRC) and the BUILDINGCONTRACTOR. site preparation repair of existing aggregate surface surface restoration and related work.
