This Addendum supersedes, supplements and has precedence over all portions of the

bidding documents with which it differs. Acknowledgement of this Addendum is

required in the Bid Form in the space provided. Failure to acknowledge and respond to

any addenda issued by the District may, in the District’s sole discretion, render the

Bidder to be deemed non-responsive or incomplete.

Item 97 – Heating – Montague No. 18-5A

18" Heavy Duty Gas Range (Add-A-Unit) with (2) 30,000 BTU open burners, stainless steel construction,

open cabinet base, adjustable legs, and 60,000 BTU total output. Includes flame failure safety valves

providing 100% gas shutoff at each burner, pilot ignition system with no standing pilot, lift-out stainless

steel drip pans, concealed pilot tubing and burners, natural gas configuration, and 1" left rear manifold

with pressure regulator. Standard one-year parts and labor warranty included.

Item 98 – Heating – Montague No. 36-5A

36" Heavy Duty Gas Range with (4) 30,000 BTU open burners, stainless steel construction, open cabinet

base, adjustable legs, and 120,000 BTU total output. Includes flame failure safety valves providing 100%

gas shutoff at each burner, pilot ignition system with no standing pilot, lift-out stainless steel drip pans,

concealed pilot tubing and burners, natural gas configuration, and 1" left rear manifold with pressure

regulator. Standard one-year parts and labor warranty included.

Item 99 – Heating – Montague No. 136-5A

36" Heavy Duty Gas Range with (4) 30,000 BTU open burners and standard oven base,

stainless steel construction, adjustable legs, and 160,000 BTU total output. Includes flame

failure safety valves providing 100% gas shutoff at each burner, electronic oven controls with

pilot ignition system, lift-out stainless steel drip pans, concealed pilot tubing and burners, natural

gas configuration, and 1" left rear manifold with pressure regulator. Includes a standard

one-year parts and labor warranty and lifetime door warranty.

Questions

1.​ When is the commencement date for this contract?

​ Answer: The anticipated date is July 15, 2026

2.​ Are alternates being accepted for this bid, especially for the dish machines

and heated cabinets to name a couple items?

Answer: The RFP has a section on "Or Equal"/Substitutions on page 18. Requests for

substitutions shall be submitted by June 9, 2026. Specifically for

dishwashers, low-temp with use of a chemical sanitizer standard units that

operate on 115v/60/1-ph, 30.0 amps are welcomed.

3.​ The Scope of Service states: District is requesting proposals from manufacturers

or factory authorized resellers/distributors for procurement of commercial kitchen

equipment, and where applicable for services for delivery, set-in-place,

installation, and/or haul away of replaced units and

debris.

The Bid Form Pricing Worksheet states: **All Quotes include delivery, freight

and surcharge (F.O.B Delivery Location) if any in addition to serving line

equipment, installation, and haul away of the replaced units and debris.

Please confirm that the cost of set-in-place, installation, and/or haul away of

replaced units and debris is only to be calculated into the pricing of the items

designated as Serving Line Equipment and that all other item pricing is only to

include FOB for dock delivery?

Answer: Most units should have cost of set-in-place, installation, and/or haul

away of replaced units and debris calculated in. For example, damage to

transport cabinets, rolling racks, and heating cabinets cannot be seen without it

being uncrated and set-in-place. Being able to reject delivery right away is more

timely than to schedule a pick up for return at a later date. The exception would

be the Mechanical Small Equipment where costs for FOB for dock delivery will be

fine.
