Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT GARBAGE, RUBBISH, TRASH, AND RECYCLABLES COLLECTION IN THE MOUNT PLEASANT AND VALHALLA REFUSE AND SANITATION DISTRICTS The Town of Mount Pleasant is seeking sealed bids from qualified individuals and firms interested in providing garbage, rubbish, trash and recyclables collection in the Mount Pleasant and Valhalla Refuse and Sanitation Districts. Bid instructions and specifications will be available at www.mtpleasantny.gov or at the Town Clerk's Office, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY 10595 during regular business hours. The Town will begin accepting bids on November 3, 2025 at 9:00am. All completed proposals must be received at the Town of Mount Pleasant, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY 10595, no later than 11:00 a.m., November 21, 2025 in a sealed envelope and shall bear on the face thereof, the name and address of the bidder and the appropriate contract title: “BID FOR GARBAGE, RUBBISH, TRASH AND RECYCLABLES COLLECTION IN THE MOUNT PLEASANT AND VALHALLA REFUSE AND SANITATION DISTRICTS CONTRACT”. The Town is not responsible for any internal or external delivery delays, which may cause a bid to arrive beyond the deadline. Bids received after the time stated in the bid due date will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by Town employees. The bidder assumes all responsibility for having the proposal deposited on time at the place specified. The Town reserves the right, consistent with New York State law, to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding, or to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid that in the opinion of the Town will serve the best interest of the Town.
