Pre-Bid Meeting Info:	A Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit is scheduled for this contract on December 11, 2024, starting PROMPTLY at 10:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Placerville Jail located at 300 Forni Road, Placerville, California 95667. All Bidders attending the Pre-Bid Site Visit will be subject to a background check and must submit the following documents to gain entry into the Placerville Jail. 1.)        A copy of the Bidder’s valid driver’s license. This is required for all parties attending. 2.)        A signed PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) & Custodial Sexual Misconduct Volunteers & Contractors (included in the Supplemental Instructions to Bidders). 3.) A SIGNED EL DORADO COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY – NO HOSTAGE POLICY VISITOR – TOUR – VOLUNTEER – CONTRACTOR (INCLUDED IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS). THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOVEMBER 22, 2024 AT 5:00 P.M. AND SHALL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO LIEUTENANT JON ESLICK WITH A CC TO TYLER PRINCE AT THE EMAILS BELOW. In the subject line of the email please state: Background check documents for the Pre-Bid meeting on December 11, 2024 for the Fire Alarm Device Upgrade at the Placerville Jail. eslickj@edso.org tyler.prince@edcgov.us Bidders will not be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit if the above-mentioned documents are not received by November 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Bidders will not be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit if they don’t pass the background check. Bidders can’t submit a proposal if they don’t attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit. ATTENDANCE AT THE PRE-BID SITE VISIT IS MANDATORY. REPRESENTATIVES SHALL FOLLOW COUNTY COVID 19 POLICY WHILE ON COUNTY PREMISES WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE USE OF FACE COVERINGS.
