ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at the Architectural &

Engineering Services (A & E), 875 Perimeter Drive, University of Idaho, Moscow Idaho 83844 until

2:00 p.m. local Pacific time, on Thursday, June 4, 2026 for DPW Project 25267 Admin Bldg Convert

Former NOC to Offices & Renovate Southeast Entry, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include; Convert room 129 into a new office

suite with reception and eight (8) new private offices, associated electrical work, and replacement of three

(3) existing exterior windows. Scope includes revision and re-branching of HVAC system ductwork and

hydronics to serve new offices layout, and revision to fire suppression system.

Bid Alternate #1: Historical renovation and restoration of Hallway 12, including demolition of existing partial

dropped ceiling, installing new gypsum board ceiling, concealing of surface mounted conduits,

replacement of light fixtures and new “key-hole” entries to offices.

Bid Alternate #2: Demolition of existing window and railing system on East wall of Hallway 13, Install new

"key-hole" entry to office 127, new double doors to vestibule, and relocation of existing mail cabinet within

vestibule.

Bid Alternate #3: Addition of secondary computer room air conditioning (crac) unit.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Monday, May 18th, beginning at 2:00 pm prevailing local Pacific

time, at the A&E Services, 875 Perimeter Drive, University of Idaho, Moscow Idaho 83844. Bidders are

encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and

electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $250. Others may obtain

documents at cost, non-refundable.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public

Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.

Estimated Cost: $1,205,000
