Overview

Summary

The Village of Schaumburg is soliciting public bids for (2) intersection Signal Projects. (1) National and Higgins and (2) Meacham and Remington. National Parkway and Higgins (IL-72) is being funded with Invest in Cook Grant Funds. This project is expected to be completed in the 2025 construction season pending any long lead items.

The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg ) for 2025-IFB-017 , Pedestrian Signal Improvements - Village of Schaumburg to be received no later than Wednesday, March 12, 2025 , 12:00 pm . Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted.

Background

Schaumburg is the largest center of economic development in the State of Illinois, outside the City of Chicago. In addition to the 9.5 million square feet of retail and restaurant space, the village has over 12 million square feet of office space and 13.5 million square feet of industrial space.
