Scope of Services
It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one or more qualified successful Proposer(s) to provide pre and post medical services at emergency shelters within Osceola County during activation of emergency mass care operations. It is the intent of the County to meet all Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requirements for this solicitation and the resulting Agreement, and be eligible for FEMA financial reimbursements, pursuant to 2. C.F.R Part 200 titled “Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards”, when services described herein are utilized in preparation for and response to declared emergencies.
Osceola County Emergency Management is responsible for coordinating mass care operations, including general population and special needs shelters, during emergency events. Medical support services are required to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of shelter occupants during activations.
