VOLUNTEERS WANTED
THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY ANNOUNCES
COMMITTEE OPENING
HOTEL AND MOTEL TOURISM PROMOTION AREA (TPA) COMMISSION

Spokane Valley announces there are currently THREE openings on the Spokane Valley Hotel and Motel Tourism Promotion Area Commission (aka TPA).  Commission members serve a two-year term beginning January 2026. All applicants for consideration must be operators/owners of lodging businesses within the City of Spokane Valley or employees of the operator of such lodging businesses. City Council would rely on these hoteliers' expertise in proposing an annual workplan/budget for expenditure of the funds generated from TPA fees, which would guide Council in allocating the funds for tourism and marketing promotion. The vacancies are for a Full-Service Hotel position, Upper Midscale Hotel position and a Midscale Hotel position. If you are interested in serving on this commission, please request an application from the City Clerk Marci Patterson, 10210 E. Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA. 99206 (509)720-5102. Applications can also be found on the City’s website at www.spokanevalleywa.gov under “volunteer opportunities.” Applications must be received by the City Clerk no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025.
