At that time, representatives of the City of Burnsville will open the bids publicly and post the results.
Pre-Bid Meeting Info: There is a non-mandatory pre-bid conference for bidders, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., June 4, 2026 at the Burnsville Water Treatment Plant at 50 River Ridge Court, Burnsville, MN, 55337.

Description: Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following work:

The project generally consists of improvements to multiple high service pumping units, including removal, inspection, rehabilitation, and selective replacement of vertical turbine pumps and motors. Work includes rehabilitation of an existing high service pump and process component improvements; furnishing and installation of new vertical hollow-shaft motors, including inverter-duty motors to accommodate future variable frequency drive operation; and replacement of a high service pump with associated rehabilitation of the existing motor. The project also includes condition-based replacement of pump components and bid alternates, as specified. All labor, materials, equipment, testing, and incidental work necessary for a complete and operational installation are included.

For this project we will accept only online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using project # 10177687. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.

The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.

The Council will consider such bids in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
