Prince Street Project Work Group

This project is a collaboration of Lancaster County Redevelopment Fund (property owner), the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (developer and operator),
Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition partners, and community.

The Coalition is recruiting members for this active work group in the composition of Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition Steering Committee members (2), Coalition
members (2-3), and community members (2) including one person with lived expertise. The Office for the Coalition staff will facilitate the group.

At this time, we anticipate monthly virtual or in person meetings beginning in the Summer 2026 through Spring 2027, then bi-monthly.

PROJECT: The Prince Street project aims to meet the needs of unhoused individuals and families by developing
32 permanent housing units, 9 transitional housing units, employment and job training center, and a
comprehensive service hub. Located at 134-136 S. Prince Street, Lancaster City, the project will begin with site
demolition in June2026, followed by construction of a two-story facility. The estimated demolition and
construction of the project is $15M.
PURPOSE OF THE WORK GROUP: This project is a collaboration of Lancaster County Redevelopment Fund
(property owner), the Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (developer and operator),
Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition partners, and community. The Lancaster County Homelessness
Coalition Steering Committee recommended that the Coalition form a work group that serves as an advisory
committee in the development of the project mission and services within the building.
RECRUITMENT: Beginning June2026, the Coalition is recruiting members for this active work group in the
