Intensive and Sustained Engagement Teams (INSET)
New York’s public mental health system is moving toward a more trauma-informed, equitable way of meeting the needs of the community. The Intensive and Sustained Engagement Teams (INSET) Program is one of the ways we are investing in this work. INSET is a peer-led engagement approach that supports individuals on their recovery journey. The program is for people with a mental health condition who are underserved, unserved, or who haven't had success in the traditional mental health system.
The Office of Mental Health seeks to expand the availability of INSET with funding for one (1) new program location. - Commodity Codes
