The check, bond or band draft will be retained by the owner as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract in accordance with the bid when notified of the award. Special Requirements: Bid envelopes must be clearly marked Bid No. 987 - Chemicals. Miscellaneous: Specifications for the items to be bid may be obtained at the issuing office: Office of the City Engineer, 503 South Highland Avenue, Madison, South Dakota 57042. The City of Madison reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities.
