This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition.
The purpose of this procurement is to acquire specialized systems, software, and security engineering services to provide integrated verification and validation, mission security, and simulation and test environments serving as a critical partner throughout the lifecycle of NASA’s mission critical programs. These services are performed on selected systems being developed by or for NASA or other government and commercial entities to provide our customers with objective evidence that their safety and mission critical systems and software will operate reliably, safely, and securely. The services performed by the Contractor will align with the strategic growth areas to support and enhance NASA’s mission‑assurance capabilities, support evolving technological requirements, and ensure the safety and reliability of NASA systems and software. Contractor performance will align with applicable NASA Procedural Requirements, relevant standards, and verification and validation methodologies as directed by the Government.

The Government reserves the right to consider a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) business set-aside based on responses received.
