Description:

The Kern County Public Health, Environmental Health Division (KCEH) is the local enforcement agency for hotel/motel facilities within Kern County. KCEH is responsible for inspecting local hotel/motel facilities and enforcing the Uniform Housing Code. KCEH can initiate enforcement action against local hotel/motel facilities for substandard living conditions, which may result in the displacement of tenants. This RFA would offer displaced tenants temporary funding or temporary accommodations.
