Orleans Parish School Board shall not be responsible for late receipt of any Post-Bid Document
submissions.
5. Prior Approvals and Requests for Clarification:
a. Requests for Clarifications shall be submitted in writing via email to the Architect and to
Jonathan Temple, Director of Business Partnerships, jtemple@nolapublicschools.com, in
accordance with Paragraph 4.2 of the Instructions to Bidders. Must be received at least ten
(10) days prior to Bid Date/Time per ITB 4.2.2.
Requests for Clarification shall be submitted only to the Architect at Mark@MIBArch.com.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUESTS FOR CLARIFICATION IS 1:00 PM CDT ON JUNE 27, 2026.
b. Substitutions: Prior Approvals shall be submitted in writing via email to the Architect, in
accordance with Paragraph 4.3 of the Instructions to Bidders, and Section 01 25 00
Substitution Procedures. Must be received at least seven (7) days prior to Bid Date/Time per
ITB 4.3.2.

E. Overview
The Scope of Work (SOW) and Contract Requirements generally consist of, without limitation, the

a. Complete tear-off and replacement of roofing and flashings, totaling approx.. 27,114 SF,
b. Repairs to existing stone pediment over main school entrance,
c. Installation of fixed stanchions for existing rooftop ductwork,
d. Miscellaneous scope as indicated in the Contract Documents.
2. Structural
a. Framing for roof access penthouse.
3. Mechanical and Electrical
a. Temporary removal and re-installation of mechanical and electrical equipment and conduit
as required to facilitate re-roofing.
b. Temporary disconnection and reconnection of photovoltaic panels as required to facilitate re-
roofing.
4. ALTERNATE #1: Construction of a penthouse to improve roof access.
5. All permits, inspections, close-out documents, warranties, as-built documents, O&M manuals, and
other contractual requirements.
