Description

Deschutes County Department of Solid Waste is soliciting proposals for Community-Based Waste Prevention Services in Deschutes County that meet the requirements as set forth in the State of Oregon’s Opportunity to Recycle guidelines. The Contractor shall provide waste prevention programs that will include community outreach and resources focused on waste prevention, reuse, repair, composting, and recycling to Deschutes County residents, visitors, and businesses. The program should encourage practical behavior changes that reduce waste generation, conserve resources, and lessen the environmental impacts associated with the production, use, and disposal of materials.
