Quotes will be received by the Idaho Department of Lands for the following:

INSTRUCTIONS

All price quotes must be entered on the attached Schedule A. The signed Schedule A must be submitted with your

response. No more than one award will be made. A vendor MUST provide a price for each respective line to be

considered for a purchase award. The submitting Vendor agrees that its Quotation shall be good and may not be

withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing date, unless otherwise identified in the

Solicitation. No Quotation will be accepted if marked "price prevailing at time of delivery,” “estimated prices,”

“actual costs to be billed,” or similar phrases. After the date and time of closing, no price change will be allowed,

unless otherwise stated in the Solicitation. The right is reserved to accept a quote on each item separately, or as a

whole. IDL may award Purchase Order(s) in its best interest to the qualified Supplier submitting the lowest

responsible and responsive quote, either by line item or in whole. IDL shall award the Purchase Order to the qualified

Supplier submitting the lowest responsible and responsive quote.

o Note: Specifications for SERVICE BODIES have been stated in the Schedule A. THESE ARE EXACT

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS to ensure consistency in inventory/deployment. IDL reserves the right to

rescind an entire award if item deviates from the specification listed.

o Idaho Department of Lands reserves the right to enter negotiations in accordance with IDL Procurement

Policy #455.

QUOTES DEADLINE AND DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Quotes must be received, and time stamped by the Idaho Department of Lands at the electronic address listed below

before 2:00:00 PM PT. on December 4th, 2025. The Idaho Department of Lands is not responsible for delayed

delivery of electronically submitted quotes. The date and time of electronically received quotes, to the Idaho

Department of Lands email address listed below, will be used to determine if electronically submitted quotes were

received by the due date and time specified. Late Quotes will not be accepted. Mailed or Fax Quotes will not

be accepted.

The following details the Scope of Work for the design, manufacture

and delivery of service bodies for IDL installation to Type 5 Fire Engines

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Provide service bodies with the following specifications

Custom Body

108 inches-long x 45 inches high x 94 inches wide

Must fit Cab Chassis with a cab to axle (CA) of 60 inches with dual rear wheel axle

No mounting brackets needed

Body Dimensions:

45 inches - Compartment height

20 inches - Compartment depth

54 inches - Load space width

29 inches - Top of body to the top of the floor

23 inches - Horizontal compartment height on curbside compartment

Body Materials:

14 gauge steel - Main body material

14 gauge - Compartment tops

14 gauge steel with 18 gauge inner door panels

Gas strut supports installed on all vertical doors

Stainless steel full length continuous hinges on doors

Heavy duty 12 gauge one piece round wheel well reinforced with ¾” steel split tube

14 gauge steel - Front bulkhead

18 gauge galvanized – Shelving installed on Uni-Strut for infinite adjustment

Body Floor and Understructure:

11 ga steel tread plate - Floor

- 3 inch steel structural channel full frame (34-1/8” outside dimension to fit Ford F550 cab and chassis)

- Add extra channel and reinforce frame under water tank

Accessories:

- Stainless Steel automotive rotary type door latches

• Stud mounted latches have hidden fasteners inside the door

• Adjustable striker brackets wrap around the weather-strip

• Stud mounted automotive style latches have interior plastic latch covers

- Gas strut supports installed on all vertical doors chain stops on horizontal compartments

- Triple seal weatherstripping on compartment doors

- Fuel filler cutout in Street Side fender panel.

• Ford is square

• Aluminum filler cup

- Maxxima MLS strip lighting in all compartments (all wiring completed with lights installed)

- High intensity LED light strips mounted on both sides of each compartment

- Controlled by up fitter switch in cab

Street Side Compartmentation:

1st Vertical:

34" Wide x 45" High x 20" Deep

- Three (3) adjustable shelves each with divider slots on 2” centers installed on Uni-strut (each shelf will

have five (5) adjustable dividers)
