OverviewPost InformationPosted At:Mon, Jun 30, 2025 11:05 AMSealed Bid Process:Yes (Bids Sealed / Pricing Sealed)Private Bid:NoSummaryThe Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms and/or individuals with expertise in HRIS Implementation. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQu) is to identify and prequalify one or more vendors with the experience, capacity, and professional qualifications necessary to support current or upcoming projects.
CREC may select one or more qualified firms from this process and either (1) enter into negotiations for a contract or (2) establish a prequalified vendor pool for future project-specific opportunities.
BackgroundThe Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is the first and largest of Connecticut's six Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs). It serves thirty five member public school districts of north central Connecticut. CREC was established in 1966 as a grassroots effort of local school districts under the provisions of the Connecticut General Statute (C.G.S.), Section 10-66 a.-n. The Connecticut State Department of Education is CREC’s regulatory State agency.
Publicly elected board of education members appointed by each member school district served by CREC as CREC Council directors govern CREC. The office term of such appointed Council directors cannot exceed four years. The Council appoints an executive director to serve as the executive agent of CREC. Pursuant to C.G.S. 10-66c, CREC, as a regional educational service center, is a body corporate and politic and, as such, is a public educational authority acting on behalf of the State of Connecticut. The Internal Revenue Service has determined CREC to be an organization described in Section 170 (c) (1) of the Code. CREC's mission is to improve the quality of public education through cooperative programs.
CREC is pleased to make this RFQu available and looks forward to receiving your Proposals.
CREC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.TimelineRelease Project Date:June 30, 2025Question Submission Deadline:July 12, 2025, 11:00pmProposal Submission Deadline:July 18, 2025, 11:00pm - Commodity Codes
