IFA PRINCE OF WALES PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION UPGRADES & OVERH

Select and perform a Design Study Report(DSR), Environmental approval and complete PS&E for the refurbishment of the Inter-Island Ferry Authority (IFA) vessel
MV Prince of Wales. The construction work will ensure regulatory compliance and update multiple passenger accommodations spaces and equipment onboard the MV
Princes of Wales; including bow thruster control and systems upgrades,steering controls and systems upgrades,fire detection control upgrades,upgrades to main engine and
generator governor control systems,miscellaneous solarium upgrades(including seating,benches,tables),walk-in freezer and refrigerator upgrades or replacement,galley
refurbishments,removal and replacements of flooring and carpeting in multiple locations throughout the vessel,replace exterior doors and hardware, renew/construct engineers
operating station in main machinery space,install sewage system exhaust fans and control system upgrades,upgrade steering control system including electronics,modify port
and staboard mezzanine deck including exit stairs,completer overhaul of shaft and pitch control untis and electronics including head tank installation,other items that will be
identified during completion of the Design Study Report and inital ship checks. This additional work may include miscellaneous system upgrades, interior/exterior
painting,upgrade fire and evacuation plans,updated stability assessment,creation of electrical one line drawing and IFA funded annual overhaul work and dry docking. The
State request approval for expenses related to management of the project andfor in and out of state travel associated with completion of the PS&E and Bidding Services.
