Synopsis The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide Professional Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services. Services will include design-phase constructability reviews, construction contract administration, full-time construction inspection, and construction materials sampling and testing coordination for the following facilities project:
•        First Responder Hurricane Safe Room and Generator Facility
The project involves construction of a FEMA-compliant community safe room intended to support first responders during hurricane events. CEI services shall ensure construction is performed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, applicable City standards, and FEMA P-361 Design and Construction Guidance for Community Safe Rooms, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
