Police Lot Drainage Bid
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Washington Township for “Police Lot Drainage Improvements”. Bids will be opened and read in public at the Washington Township Municipal Building located at 523 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, Gloucester County, New Jersey 08080 on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. prevailing time.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans for the Police Lot Drainage Improvements project located in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey, including but not limited to pavement excavation, grading, topsoil, seeding, installation of concrete vertical curb, installation of 18” HDPE and new inlets.

The electronic copy of the bid documents isavailable via email.Digital copies of the Bid Documents will be provided and may be obtained at no cost by contacting PennoniAssociates, by e-mail at ABorstad@Pennoni.com with a cc to ddownes@pennoni.com.Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein, providing one (1) originaland one (1) copy, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and thename of the project on the outside, addressed to Christine Ciallella, Clerk, 523 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ08080, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order ofWashington Township for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security not be more than$20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company,licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Paymentand Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract.The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above.The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security.Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities willbe returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond.Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. (AffirmativeAction Law); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration Act); and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.
