Work includes but not limited to, Centracs Mobility licensing and programmingmodifications to existing Advance Transportation Controllers (ATC) and cabinets, furnishing and installingAccessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) buttons at select locations, furnishing and installing non-invasive stopbar and (where indicated at designated intersections) Advance vehicle detection for Automated TrafficSignal Performance Measures (ATSPMs). In addition, the project will provide communications to and fromthe on-street traffic signal control cabinet equipment to the city’s existing cloud-based Central ManagementSystem (CMS) via new fiber optic cabling for primary communications and existing (by others) cellularbased infrastructure for secondary/fallback communications via the existing secure Virtual Private Network(VPN) tunnel.
