Description:

I. INTRODUCTION

The Town of Weston is accepting proposals from qualified proposers to lease the Town-owned building known as the Fiske Law Office and located at 598 Boston Post Road, Weston, Massachusetts, for an initial period of four (4) years, with the tenant having the right to extend the lease for two (2) periods of two (2) years each, for a total possible term of eight (8) years.


II. RFP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All proposals must comply with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, which can be found online at: http://www.malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleIII/Chapter30B .
  2. If any changes are made to this Request for Proposals, an addendum will be issued. Addenda will be mailed to all proposers on record as having picked up the Request for Proposals.
  3. The Town intends to adhere to the schedule and dates specified in this RFP. If revisions made to this RFP make it necessary, the proposal due date and all subsequent dates may be extended with written notice of such changes sent to all proposers who have requested a copy of this RFP.
  4. The Town of Weston shall award the contract to the proposer whose proposal is deemed to be most advantageous to the Town of Weston, as defined by the evaluation criteria contained in this Request for Proposals.  The Town of Weston may, at its sole discretion, determine that no contract award shall be made.  The Town of Weston reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Final acceptance of any proposal is the responsibility of the Town Manager.
  5. All proposals submitted in response to this RFP, plus any other related materials submitted by proposers, will become the property of the Town of Weston and will not be returned to proposers.
  6. By submission of a proposal, the proposer agrees, if its proposal is accepted, to enter into a lease with the Town of Weston that incorporates all of the requirements of this RFP.  The proposer further accepts all of the terms and conditions of this RFP.
