Description: The Town of Normal Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the following: 2024 Manhole Rehabilitation Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "2024 Manhole Rehabilitation" with the time and date of the opening, which will be November 7th, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761. Bids will be opened in the Union Pacific Conference Room ñ Room 338 at City Hall. Work includes but is not limited to repairing and rehabilitating the interior of 29 sanitary manholes and 2 storm manholes using spray on coatings, along with associated traffic control, testing and site restoration. Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed in a pre-bid meeting on October 31st, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. per project documents. Participation in the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening. State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job.
