Overview

Summary

The City of Aurora invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Sans Souci Drive and Cobblestone Drive Water Main Replacement project. The Work generally includes the installation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main, approximately 3,300 linear feet of 1-inch directional drilled copper water services, roadway and landscape restoration, and related appurtenances, all in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications.

Background

The City of Aurora is replacing the existing 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main within the project area due to recurring water main breaks and ongoing maintenance concerns. In addition, all lead water service lines encountered within the project limits shall be fully replaced to the water meter as part of the Work.
