Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533 Bid Opening Information: 02:00 PM, City Hall Business Hours: M-F, 8:00am- 5:00pm Qualifications: The consultant team shall include: •        A Professional Engineer currently licensed in the State of Georgia. •        Demonstrated experience evaluating historic structures. •        Experience working on buildings listed on or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. •        Knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. •        Experience preparing structural assessments and preservation recommendations for historic buildings. Special Requirements: Questions Due: July 15, 2026 by 5:00 PM, All questions shall be submitted by email only to ghenderson@cityofdouglasga.gov. Site Visit Due: July 15, 2026 by 3:00 PM, All requests for a site visit shall be coordinated with Chris Davis, Airport Manager, 912-384-1409 or 912-327-5274 or by email to cdavis2@cityofdouglasga.gov. Miscellaneous: Preference will be given to firms that include personnel meeting the Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualification Standards in Architecture, Historic Architecture, Architectural History, or related historic preservation disciplines, as applicable to the project. The Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualification Standards establish nationally recognized credentials for preservation professionals working on historic resources.
