NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS AND MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING FOR CDBG-FUNDED SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSING REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM PROJECTS

The City of Pacific Grove seeks qualified general contractors for CDBG-funded Single-Family Housing Rehabilitation Projects. These projects are designed to improve health, safety, and accessibility for low-income homeowners. The program also helps seniors to age in place, ensuring their homes are safe and suitable for long-term living.

The goal of the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program is to Preserve and Protect: Preserve the City’s housing stock by making essential repairs. Protect homeowners and tenants from health and safety hazards.

For more than 25 years, the City has provided deferred payment rehabilitation loans to qualified low-income homeowners, funded through Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and CalHOME. This program helps preserve affordable housing and allows seniors to remain in their homes.

BIDDER PACKAGE AVAILABILITY: A Bidder Package, including plans and specifications, special provisions, sample contract, and proposal forms may be obtained in-person at the mandatory pre-bid conference on October 30, 2024 at 8 a.m.
