Notes	BID EVENT INFORMATION : Type of Bid: Formal Invitation to Bid Project Name: SRJC Petaluma Campus Media Services & Tutorial Center Owner: Sonoma County Junior College District ("District"), dba Santa Rosa Junior College ("SRJC") Location: Petaluma Campus (680 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA 94954) Delivery Type: Design-Bid-Build CSLB License Requirement: B - General Building Contractor Press Democrat advertisement dates: April 1, 2026 and April 8, 2026 Contractors are responsible for downloading all applicable documents included in this bid event. The estimated budget for this project is $768,700.00. The timeline for completion is 196 calendar days from notice to proceed. This project is for two DSA-approved plan sets: 01-121271 Media Services and 01-121270 Tutorial Center. This project will be phased. Reference the District schedule in attachments for how the project will be phased with durations for each phase and liquidated damages for each phase/milestone. This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and Contractor and its Subcontractors are required to pay all workers employed for the performance of this Contract no less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for each such worker. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. A bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the contractor's response. A Mandatory Bidders Conference will take place at the Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma Campus, 680 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA 94954. Meet at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 9, 2026 in front of the Mahoney Library. Please see attached Petaluma campus map for location information. Technical questions must be submitted to architect Clayton Mandly of HGA via email at cmandly@hga.com with a cc to project manager Heather Chierici at hchierici@santarosa.edu on or before April 15, 2026 at 5 PM (PDT) - An addendum to answer the questions will be issued no later than April 23, 2026 through the electronic bid system. Bid responses are due by 1:00 PM (PDT) on April 29, 2026. Once the deadline has passed the electronic bid system will not allow late submissions. Please note that items marked with a red * are required and the system will not allow you to submit unless all required items are completed. Right after the bid deadline, a public bid opening will take place in the north wing of Bailey Hall room 1318 on the Santa Rosa Campus, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. There is no need to attend, though, because bids are unsealed electronically and emailed to all bidders. After a Notice of Award is issued, the successful contractor will be required to expeditiously submit payment and performance bonds and a signed contract. The Sonoma County Junior College District utilizes the college district website https://srjc.ionwave.net/login.aspx and the Press Democrat http://www.pressdemocrat.com/ for notification of formal solicitation opportunities. These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college District. Sonoma County Junior College District shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to verify the validity of all bid information received by sources other than those listed.
