The City of Fairfield (City) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive ambulance and first responder fee billing services. The selected provider will manage all aspects of the billing and collections process for emergency medical services (EMS) provided by the City, with the goal of maximizing revenue recovery while ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations. The City, through the Fairfield Fire Department (FFD), provides engine-based ALS emergency response services within the City and the adjoining Cordelia Fire Protection District. With a private ambulance transport provider as its subcontractor, the City intends to submit a proposal in response to the Solano County Request for Proposal (RFP) for Countywide Emergency Ambulance Services for Exclusive Operation Area (EOA). If successful, the City intends to engage a qualified medical billing provider that meets the criteria outlined in our Request for Qualifications.
