Bid Title:	Elm Avenue Culvert Replacement Project

Description: The City of Webster Groves will be accepting sealed bids for the culvert replacement project on North Elm Avenue. This project will consist of replacement of the existing corrugated pipe culvert with a larger reinforced concrete box culvert.  The project is on the southern leg of the Elm Avenue & Kirkham Drive intersection and includes new curb and gutter, concrete pavement, sidewalk, median islands, guardrail, storm & sanitary sewer improvements, and streambank improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Webster Groves City Hall on April 1st at 10:00 AM. Virtual accommodations will be made for those who cannot attend in-person. Sealed bids shall be delivered to City Hall in a clearly marked envelope with Bid No. 20PW03, on or before Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m.  The proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check of a bank or trust company in St. Charles County, City of St. Charles, St. Louis County, or in the City of St. Louis for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid amount. The amount of the check shall be forfeited to the City if the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract or to furnish bond after their proposal has been accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers, or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids with the MoDOT’s concurrence.
