DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE/PRODUCT: HARDWARE FORENSIC PC PURCHASE AMOUNT (This is an acquisition with an estimated value of): $63638.00 VENDOR: FAST FORENSICS LLC Interested firms or individuals may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting in writing their name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail, and a statement regarding capability to provide the specified procurement per the attached specifications. Interested firms will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirements stated herein.  All responses received within seven (7) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the City.  A determination by the Procurement Manager not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion and approval of the Procurement Manager and City Manager. All sole/single source purchases exceeding the formal threshold indicated in the policies and procedures manual will require Commission Approval. Explanation *

This procurement is for a fully customized digital forensics hardware solution. The proposed all-in-one digital

forensics storage system is uniquely configured for the North Port Police Department and incorporates

proprietary hardware components and integration methods utilized exclusively by Fast Forensics. These specific

components, configurations, and system architecture are not publicly available and cannot be reasonably known,

replicated, or duplicated by other vendors, making Fast Forensics the sole source capable of providing this

solution.

In addition, this procurement includes the upgrade of two existing Fast Forensics hardware systems to meet

current operational and technological requirements. These upgrades must be performed by Fast Forensics to

ensure compatibility, system integrity, and continuity of digital forensics operations.

here, specifically designed for North Port PD, are designed and built in-house using a proprietary design utilizing

hardware components used by FAST Forensics that cannot be duplicated by other sellers. As such, these custom

workstations can only be purchased directly from FAST Forensics and are a sole source product.
