Overview

Summary

The Sacramento County Water Agency (“Agency”), is soliciting proposals for professional engineering services in review of drainage studies and improvement plans, and modeling services on an as-needed basis.

Agency anticipates awarding three (3) on-call contracts for $100,000 each. The estimated contract length will be 2 years, beginning in 2025.

Background

Consistent with Sacramento County Standards, certain development projects within unincorporated areas are required to submit drainage studies and improvement plans for review and approval.

Depending on the Agency staff’s workload or on the complexity of projects, the Agency may request third party reviews of drainage studies and/or improvement plans for consistency with Sacramento County Improvement Standards, Sacramento County Hydrology Standards, Sacramento County Drainage Study Requirements, and the Sacramento Region Stormwater Quality Design Manual.
